Chienge, Zambia – The Constituency Development Fund (CDF) Committee in Chienge District is currently undertaking a comprehensive monitoring exercise of the 2024 and 2025 CDF projects. Led by District Commissioner Ms. Caroline Mwiche Chikonde and Council Chairperson Mr. Francis Mwanto, the team includes Local Authority Assistant Director Engineering Mr. Cletus Mulenga, councilors, and local government staff.
The objective of this exercise is to assess the implementation progress and impact of the CDF projects, with a focus on ensuring transparency, accountability, and optimal utilization of resources. The CDF has significantly enhanced access to essential services in the district, and Chienge Town remains committed to delivering quality service to its residents.
